51st Annual Chicago Business Opportunity Fair

TEI Analytical Laboratories and Water Integrated Treatment Systems were proud to take part and provide sponsorship in the 51st Annual Chicago Business Opportunity Fair presented by the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council. The CBOF is the largest procurement conference and trade fair in the marketplace dedicated to connecting minority business enterprises (MBEs) with corporate and government buying organizations.
TEI and Water IT’s President and CEO, Rico Martinez, was an Honorary Chair and Speaker at the event and participated in the ribbon cutting, award ceremony, and handing out scholarships to seven high school seniors!

As part of TEI’s commitment to continuously upgrade lab equipment, three new instruments were purchased and installed in December 2017.
With the additional of a new Inductively Couples Plasma spectrometer (ICP) we have doubled our ability to run heavy metal analysis. Highlights of this new instrument include:
TEI has also upgraded our Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer Systems (GCMS) with the purchase of two new instruments to assist with organic analysis. Configured for volatile compounds, the first new instrument is connected to our purge and trap system. Our second new system will allow us to run semi-volatile compounds as listed in EPA Method 8270.
