Gayle has over 35 years of experience running an independent contract laboratory. As president, she provides the overall leadership for TEI Analytical, Inc. As laboratory director, she personally consults with each client to assess needs, develop strategies, and review results. She also reviews legal documents and provides expert witness testimony in chemical matters. Gayle has been a member of the American Chemical Society for over 30 years and served on the Committee on Environmental Improvement for many years. She has been a member of several other technical societies, including the Society for Applied Spectroscopy, the Water Environment Federation and has held local offices. Gayle has also been a member of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). Prior to joining TEI, she was an associate chemist at the IIT Research Institute and was involved with chemical analysis and methods development. She holds a doctorate in chemistry from Loyola University of Chicago.

Anne is an analytical chemist with a broad-range of expertise in chromatography, mass spectrometry, and GC-MS. At TEI, she focuses on the development and applications of analytical techniques and systems in the areas of environmental chemistry (air and water), petroleum chemistry, industrial cleaning chemistries and equipment, and process and product development. She also has extensive experience in the characterization/speciation of complex mixtures for petroleum products, flavor/fragrance products, and ambient, stationary source or indoor air. Anne holds a master of science in analytical chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining TEI, she served as manager of product and process chemistry, analytical development, for Safety-Kleen, Inc. She is a member and past president of the Chicago Chromatography Discussion Group, and a member of the MCM Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group, American Chemical Society, Sigma Xi, and the American Society for Mass Spectrometry.

Luba conducts classical chemistry analyses and sample preparation. She earned an associates degree in chemistry from Tula College of Technology and a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute, both in Tula, Russia.

Talat joined the TEI laboratory in 1986. She specializes in classical chemistry analyses and sample preparation. Talat holds a bachelors degree in chemistry from Karachi University in Pakistan.

Erin’s versatility is an asset to the small but specialized TEI staff. In the lab, she conducts instrumentation as well as classical chemistry analyses. In the office, Erin keeps the computers running, provides software training, creates and manages databases, maintains office inventories, and processes financial transactions. Erin, who began working at TEI Analytical in 1997, holds a bachelors degree from Oberlin College.
